Teaching

Dr. Shook is an assistant professor and graduate faculty member at Life University’s College of Online Education, Master’s in Positive Psychology Program, specializing in positive psychology and coaching. Courses taught have included Mindfulness-Based Coaching Psychology, The Art of Self-Care, Applied Positive Psychology, Theories & Techniques of Coaching, and The Science of Happiness. 

He also previously taught undergraduates at Life University and at Georgia State University. Classes taught have included: Abnormal Psychology, Counseling, Psychological Testing, Pain Management, Sport Psychology, Personality Theories, Psychology of Excellence, Introductory and Advanced Coaching, Group Dynamics and several other courses.
